We restored the crawl space of a 114-year-old home that had stood empty for years. The space was infested with spiders, littered with mouse droppings, and filled with trash. Our team eliminated all debris, thoroughly vacuumed the walls and framing, and repaired numerous 2"-wide foundation cracks using hydraulic cement and rebars. We foam-sealed all small cracks, the entire sill plate, and cedar siding holes, replaced and installed two carrying posts, and eliminated a large section of rotten wood to give the framing strength and stability to hold up the upper two levels. We then installed a 15mil vapor barrier and added six crawl space vents. The result is a pristine, odor-free space that enhances the home's structural integrity and livability.
