We had the pleasure of transforming this deck to handle up to 10 feet of snow load! We replaced four posts with new ones set in 4-foot concrete sono tubes, added a fifth for extra strength, and reinforced the joists and carrier beam. We also upgraded to wider stairs, sanded the entire deck, and added new fascia boards. To top it off, we installed beautiful tight knot cedar pickets and a drink rail, finishing the entire deck with two coats of Rymar Extreme Weather stain.
